While the events of this year have caused instability, anger and fear in the United States, even a cursory look at history will show it has weathered turbulent times. The country managed to find its footing then and again—not perfectly, of course, but enough to take another step. This is the hope of the people here and I take comfort in this. But, crikey, I hope that next step comes soon. Source: https://wp.avondale.edu.au/news/2020/12/18/comprehending-the-road-ahead/

A Modern Prodigal Son | AWR360° Story
Luis Miguel’s parents were dedicated evangelical missionaries in Mexico, but growing up, he wanted no part of his parents’ religion. He had dreams to pursue that didn’t include God. Then his mother was diagnosed with cancer, and before Luis Miguel realized what was happening, she passed away. He was devastated, and now all he wanted to do was return to the God of his parents and share his newfound faith with others. Luis Miguel was blown away! He’d never heard such a thing—and it was right in the Bible! Watch the video below and learn how God led Luis from evangelical preacher to AWR evangelist. “My only regret,” he says, “is that my mom didn’t get to see the change in me—but one day soon she will!” Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSiqaLm322Y

Nobody expected it to last as long as it has, nobody experienced anything like it. No one could imagine the devastation and the effect it would have upon the UK and the rest of the world.
But despite all suffering and gloom, a ray of light and hope was born….Source: https://adventist.uk/news/article/go/2020-12-17/24-members-trained-and-equipped-for-evangelism-in-wales/
