“My life is fine . . . I don’t need God.” Eric was a sailor and he loved his life as a free spirit traveling the seas. He felt he had it all and didn’t need God. But then the pandemic hit. He found himself stuck in a tiny room in Manila, Philippines, with no TV, no radio and no computer. Completely isolated and alone, his only access to the outside world was his cell phone, which he scrolled absently for hours. Would his nightmare of isolation ever end? He felt desperation setting in, until one day something caught his attention. A title on his phone said: “The Mark of the Beast” with Cami Oetman. Curiosity got the better of him, and he just had to see what that was about. He began watching and became so engrossed in the subject that he couldn’t tear himself away. What happened next?
