It is rare to see public evangelism in the Middle East, but It Is Written (IIW) conducted public evangelism meetings from March 15 to 30, 2019.
For five evenings a week, two identical services were held in succession in the Adventist School auditorium, with an average total of 53 non-Adventists attending.
At the culmination of the final Sabbath, five attendees were baptised, and 24participants came forward when Bradshaw appealed for them to give their lives to Jesus Christ.

Volunteers collect 18 tons of food for people affected by rains in Rio
People affected by storms in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, recently received food baskets provided by volunteers of Doctors of Hope (Doutores de Esperança), along with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Brazil.
The donations were delivered to the families in the cities of Volta Redonda and Barra Mansa, in the metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro, which had been previously registered by the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS, by its acronym in Portuguese).

More than 100 million people affected as tropical storm Fani makes landfall

Students get hands dirty for clean water
Edinburgh College Year 11 students and their teachers helped build a 22,500L (almost 6000 gallon) water tank for a community in Central Santo, Vanuatu, during their recent ADRA Connections trip.
“The Connections trip is well-established as Year 11’s rite of passage, helping wean students off the comforts of home and develop independence,” said Ledua Brooks, a teacher at Edinburgh College and one of the trip leaders.
