Canned, cooked tomatoes can reduce the risk of prostate cancer
Cooked tomatoes may reduce the risk of prostate cancer according to a recent study conducted by researchers at Loma Linda University Health.
Tomato Consumption and Intake of Lycopene as Predictors of the Incidence of Prostate Cancer: The Adventist Health Study-2, published in Cancer Causes and Control on Feb. 25, found that men who consumed canned and cooked tomatoes 5 to 6 times per week had a 28% decreased risk of prostate cancer compared with men who never consumed this food.

GAiN Europe Zoom edition launches major summer program
As coronavirus hit Europe in March 2020, the 150 participants of the GAiN Europe conference scheduled for Romania, 24-28 April were understandably disappointed that their annual networking opportunity was cancelled. Fifty days after the Passover came the feast of Pentecost. This was the third feast in Israel’s yearly cycle of feasts. It celebrated the harvest of the first fruit and served as an annual reminder of God’s blessing. In spiritual terms, “first fruits” is a mission concept. It is a celebration of people won to Christ. Two men gave sermons in Norway.
The first preacher was well dressed and, in the mind of the farmer wearing work clothes in the back of the room, a bit arrogant.
Opening a book, the preacher read a statement by Seventh-day Adventist Church cofounder Ellen White. Picking up another book, he read another statement by Ellen White. His whole sermon consisted of statements from Ellen White.
