A Seventh-day Adventist congregation in Cheonghak-ri, a village in South Korea’s Gyeonggi region, held a blood drive to help replenish stock diminished by the coronavirus pandemic.
On a recent Sabbath morning, a blood donation bus from the Korean Red Cross arrived at the parking lot of the Cheonghak Seventh-day Adventist Church, after a deacon, Seong KiYeol, organized the effort.

Seventh-day Adventists in Brazil promote religious liberty amid pandemic conditions
An annual observance of State Religious Freedom Week in the Brazilian state of São Paulo took on special significance in 2020 due to the global pandemic and lockdown. The São Paulo Legislative Assembly, or ALSEP, hosted a multi-day meeting on “Religious Freedom in the Pandemic.”
Dr. Damaris Moura, a state deputy and member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brazil, chaired the event, which featured several national and international experts and religious movement representatives.

Online prayer meeting for PMM Missionaries during pandemic quarantine
Thirty-four missionaries from the Northern Asia Pacific Division (NSD) of the Seventh-day Adventist world church took to the internet recently for a prayer meeting with division officials. Part of the Pioneer Missionary Movement (PMM), an outreach to unentered areas, the missionaries were unable to gather in person due to the global pandemic.
