The Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay Bible School recently held its first online graduation. In this distinguished event, 20 graduates received a Certificate of Participation for successfully completing the series of Bible studies.
The Bible school began the course, “Apocalypse: Revelations of Hope,” on Wednesday, March 24, through the Zoom application. Thanks to this method, many students from within the country and abroad could ask questions and debate virtually in the different lessons.

North American Division President to retire July 1; replacement process defined
Daniel R. Jackson, president of the North American Division of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (NAD), and his wife Donna, have announced their intent to retire, effective July 1, 2020. Adventists call for prayer and fasting as COVID-19 cases climb in the Dominican Republic
The Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Dominican Republic recently urged its members and citizens to join in fasting and prayer as COVID-19 cases continue to rise.
According to Pastor Paulino Puello, president of the church in the Dominican Republic, government statistics (as of May 15) show that there are 11,700 confirmed cases of the coronavirus and 470 deaths, including one church member who died last month.
