There is life after a cancer diagnosis — that’s the message Gina Valvo, 49, wants new cancer patients to see and hear clearly. Valvo hopes sharing her story will inspire many who are faced with a similar life-altering medical report.
Valvo learned she had Stage 4 cancer in May of 2019. Physicians at Loma Linda University Medical Centertold her it started in her left breast and spread to her spine, liver, bones and finally, her left ovary.
When physicians began to explain her life-expectancy,…Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ann-en/~3/kltjnULC5Mk/
Local Church Elders: A Success Roadmap
The role of the local church elder in the Adventist Church is of fundamental importance. Reflecting on its function, in the light of the Word of God, is essential, as we run the risk of diminishing its value and relevance in these challenging days.
The Bible offers a roadmap for success in this important function: In chapter 20 of the book of Acts, we find Paul with a group of elders, coming from the city of Ephesus to Miletus, to say goodbye to the great apostle with the possibility of never…Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ann-en/~3/Jt9K_-p70xA/

A group of friends and I had gathered together for a movie night. I would have been 13 or 14 at the time. As the credits began to roll on the first film, I leaned back and…Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ann-en/~3/FU_8M_cWax8/
Continuing in Côte d’Ivoire
To date, the West African nation of Côte d’Ivoire has been largely untouched by the COVID-19 pandemic. Maranatha Volunteers International’s work through local crews has continued uninterrupted, a welcomed sight for church leadership in a country where there are less than 10,000 Adventists.
Maranatha’s first project in Côte d’Ivoire, the Anan Seventh-day Adventist Church, is now complete. A special dedication ceremony will inaugurate the building this summer, performed by the president of the…Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ann-en/~3/YOZ3jaQv-2M/
