People affected by storms in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, recently received food baskets provided by volunteers of Doctors of Hope (Doutores de Esperança), along with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Brazil.
The donations were delivered to the families in the cities of Volta Redonda and Barra Mansa, in the metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro, which had been previously registered by the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS, by its acronym in Portuguese).

Students get hands dirty for clean water
Edinburgh College Year 11 students and their teachers helped build a 22,500L (almost 6000 gallon) water tank for a community in Central Santo, Vanuatu, during their recent ADRA Connections trip.

The Oaks Adventist Christian School rebuilds, counts blessings after Hurricane Harvey
More than a year after record-setting Hurricane Harvey made landfall, the damage done to Texas still seems harrowingly fresh. This is no surprise, considering 50 inches of rain flooded homes, schools, businesses, and more.
Many people are still struggling to recover from the category four hurricane, however, the Oaks Adventist Christian School (the Oaks) in Cypress, Texas, is able to count many blessings that resulted from the tragedy.
