As Pastor Gaza Asitore stood up to deliver his message he was hit with a rush of mixed emotions. Feeling as though the campus was the safest place they could be, teachers and ancillary staff of Betikama Adventist College (BAC) and their families remained on campus during the COVID-19 lockdown. 
College administration looked for ways to pull together as a team to support each other, and activities were held to bring support and comfort to everyone. To help strengthen belief in the Bible account of Creation, Seventh-day Adventists in South America have produced “Adventures in Galapagos,” a two-episode television series as part of an interdisciplinary learning program for Adventist schools in the division and beyond.
