World Orphans Day was created by The Stars Foundation to raise awareness about the number of children in this world who lack something most of us take for granted: parents. The Stars Foundation™, founded by Cheryl in early 1990’s, was committed to helping youth at risk and child abuse victims through strategic relationships with non-profit organizations.
Their wish was for this day to motivate people to help in any way they can. World Orphans Day falls on the second Monday of each November….
