Spending time in nature and the great outdoors provides opportunities for us to refresh our spirits and recharge our spiritual batteries. Seventh-day Adventist member Pat Baker had a vision for an old non-functioning youth camp in the Barton Flats area of San Bernardino National Forest. She dared to dream, “What if I could buy the camp and turn it into a healing place, where people could come and be renewed and blessed?” This has been an outreach project for Pat because most of the groups she services are from outside of the Adventist denomination.
