“The Accountability Factor” Interpersonal violence in families can take on many forms and may range from abuse of a spouse or intimate partner, to abuse of the elderly, to the abuse of children. Pastors, teachers and counselors are often aware of the violence that families experience. However, they are not always aware of how best to intervene, provide support, or know whether they are required by law to take further steps. This presentation will explore community accountability and maximizing local resources when confronted with issues of domestic violence
