“ For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” —Matthew 6:21 Jesus is coming soon! Do you believe it? Things are rapidly changing around the world and all signs point to a climactic finale where everyone will be called to take a stand. Recently we received a substantial donation for Adventist World Radio. It was given with a specific stipulation: the funds needed to be used within the next six months, and should go toward the preaching of the Gospel through the distribution of Godpods. Were we up to the challenge? Were we ever! We immediately devised a plan to produce and distribute the Godpods in the hardest-to-reach countries of the world, as was also stipulated. These solar-powered audio players that include the entire Bible, Bible studies and children’s stories needed to reach people groups who have no access to the gospel message by any other means. We made it a point to honor this request, and plan to meet the deadline. It’s not the first one of its kind, but we understand why it was made. God’s people sense that time is running out. They don’t want their funds sitting in a bank when Jesus comes—and neither do we! Here is a short message where I share some of these thoughts. You and I have the privilege of spreading God’s end-time message with a world that is ready to receive it. What can be better than that? Yours in the Blessed Hope, Duane McKey

by Jim Burklo | 26 February 2025 | If we are looking in the Bible for specific public policy prescriptions for the present day, we’re going to be frustrated. But if we’re looking for inspiration to practice compassion through our social, political, and economic systems, we’ll find plenty of it in the scriptures. At the Hiram Edson farm, history and faith come alive. One family’s visit started with a video about Edson’s life, followed by an exploration of an 18th-century barn that fascinated the children. A ride along the Prophecy and Prayer Garden trail added to their day, and they ended with a beautiful experience of singing hymns in the barn. Discover why this farm continues to inspire visitors of all ages. #ProphecyAndPrayer #AdventistLegacy #HistoricFaith #awr #adventistworldradio #short Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2KI3Xr_XoY

Sometimes, when we’re sad, we don’t know why we’re sad, or what to do about it. Sometimes, when we’re having a conflict, we’re not sure how to fix it or reconcile. In the same way, we can feel unsure how to pray–wanting to talk to God about what we’re going through, but no words come. If this is you, let the Spirit help. Like or comment and we will pray for your prayer journey! Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eGt0TVm1Pk
