President’s Report by Pastor Ted Wilson | #GCSession2022
Since the last General Conference Session in 2015, the world has experienced significant crises and has undergone unprecedented change. As Seventh-day Adventists, this shouldn't surprise us— prophecy foretells the condition of the world just before Jesus comes, and we are told in the Spirit of Prophecy that "the final events will be rapid ones" (Evangelism, p. 32). How beautiful that, in spite of the challenges, God has strengthened us and His end-time remnant movement has continued to move forward around the world. During this time of change and chaos, church members all around the world have rallied together to spread the message of hope, healing, and freedom found in Jesus Christ. From new, hope-filled, Bible-based programs to reach people quarantined in their homes, to building new medical schools, and working courageously and diligently to provide for the basic needs of local communities, our Church has co-operated with the Lord in fulfilling His mission on earth.
