Commentary by Edwin Reynolds:
"What I learned from this part of Joseph’s story about Joseph's betrayal by his brothers is that God has plans for each and every one of us. Everything that happens, good or bad, God can work out to benefit our lives. As we read Genesis 38 and onwards into Joseph's story, we see how God planned everything for eventual good. Likewise, you and I might face trials, temptations, hardships, but let us not forget that if we surrender our lives to Him, He will direct our path and take care of us. He has certainly done that for me. So let us be faithful until the reward. God will never put us in a position which we cannot handle in His strength. We are blessed that we have God that can turn things upside-down! Amen! How to Deal with Excruciating Pain
If you’ve ever smashed your thumb with a hammer or experienced the death of a loved one, you know what excruciating pain feels like. The word “excruciating” comes from two Latin words: “ex” as in the English word “exit” meaning “out,” and “crucia” referring to the crucifix or the cross. So, “excruciating” literally means “out of the cross” or the pain Jesus suffered when He was crucified.
If you are right now facing excruciating pain, Jesus understands, and we want to share with you the way your Saviour dealt with severe pain. Our hope is that His example will help you. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=temFC51jqaY

Notching 100 episodes is a significant achievement for The King’s Kids, which is a collaboration between Adventist Media, Abide Family Ministries, and the South Pacific Division. A Filipino filmmaker Jasper Ivan Iturriaga has a passion for reaching the unreached. He is also a missionary, pastor, landscape photographer, and content creator. He goes around the world capturing great moments and imparting inspiration through the content he shares. Iturriaga went to Brooke’s Point, Palawan, to visit some missionary friends who work for the Philippine Adventist Medical Aviation Services. It extends medical help to people living in remote communities in the Philippines. After a few days of immersing himself in the culture, Iturriaga realized the great need for education in the community that is to build a jungle school funded entirely by society hit him. Adventist Medical Aviation Servies airlifted the construction materials, fathers worked together at the school site, and everyone played a role in building the school. In three months, the school was established. The jungle school in Palawan, Philippines is now running. The church continues to extend help and support in places that needed immediate response the most.
