There Is No “President of the Seventh-day Adventist World Church”
By Loren Seibold | 11 March 2021 | I love Victorian literature, and recently in my reading I came across an unusual and picturesque word. The term “shovelhattery” was coined by historian Thomas Carlisle in reference to the uniform of Victorian clergy. The shovel hat (a low-crowned hat with a long flat front brim and […] Source: https://atoday.org/there-is-no-president-of-the-seventh-day-adventist-world-church/
God is Faithful

Pastor Wilson: God Wants to Bless You Through Tithe
In this video, Pastor Ted Wilson shares how God wants to bless us. God reaches people where they are and keeps His promises in amazing ways.
We can never outgive the Lord! The Bible is clear. We read in Malachi 3:10, “’Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.’” (NKJV)
Are you faithful in returning a faithful tithe to the Lord? God is willing and able to pour out His abundant blessings upon you! And yet there is even more. God not only longs to bless us through a return of a faithful tithe—He also invites us to experience His amazing love by giving generous offerings to support His work around the world. It is through the faithful giving of offerings that God’s mission is fueled in our home territory, and around the world!
This Sabbath, March 13, is the AWR Annual Offering, a time when we have a special opportunity to support the wonderful work that Adventist World Radio is doing, broadcasting God’s messages into homes and hearts in some of the most difficult to reach places on Earth. For more information on how to give and to hear more inspiring stories, visit awr.org/offering.
Remember that God has placed in our hands the amazing, wonderful opportunity of participating in reaching the world for Him by returning a faithful tithe and giving generous offerings. He is waiting to pour out His blessings upon you today. 00:00 Greetings

David Stepped Up To Giant Problems
Growing up, David learned to step up to giant problems. Whether protecting his sheep or slaying Goliath, this Bible hero was as brave as they come. This doesn’t mean he was perfect. Elroy Byam says David struggled with weaknesses that sent him into a dark spiral. But even then, David loved God and came back to Him. We can do the same when we get off track.
