Pastor Wilson: God is Calling and Using Young People Today!
In this video, Pastor Ted Wilson will share some exciting things happening in the church involving our young people around the world. Through the motto, “Pass it on,” youth leaders are encouraged to instill three essential values in the hearts of young people: 1) Identity in Christ; 2) Mission as Seventh-day Adventists; and 3) Leadership in the local church. One important way this is encouraged is through the annual Global Youth Day—which is happening this Sabbath, March 20. This is a special day when young people around the world become the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing God’s last-day message of love and hope to a world in desperate need. Coinciding with Global Youth Day is the launch of the Youth Week of Prayer, focusing on the exciting I Will Go theme. These presentations cover how to be ready to go wherever God may send. Download this material and more at youth.adventist.org/Resources/Week-of-Prayer The Bible is filled with examples of young people who were encouraged to give their all for God and who made a big difference in the world around them. In 2 Kings, chapter 5, we see a brave young girl—taken captive and forced to work as a slave in a foreign country. And yet, rather than being bitter, she had compassion on those she served and shared her faith, leading to the healing of Naaman, commander of the Syrian army. When the youthful Jeremiah was approached by the Lord for service, he was afraid because he was young, but God told him, “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you. . .’” (Jeremiah 1:7,8, NKJV). God approached Isaiah when he was young, giving him an incredible vision that brought him to his knees in confession. After being cleansed by the figurative coal from the altar, Isaiah was then ready to answer God’s call when asked “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Down through the centuries, God has used many young people to keep faith alive and moving forward. In the establishment of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, God worked through young people, helping to establish this movement on solid ground and move it forward with energy, dedication, and enthusiasm. And He is still calling and using youth today. He has amazing plans for your life! Every young person—every young woman, every young man, every girl, every boy—can say “Yes!” to the Lord. Say, “Yes Lord, I Will Go wherever you send me, I Will Go!” Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfrcjU6tmAQ

—Please pray for me to rest…
—Please pray for me to rest in the perfect peace of the Lord, and cast out all fear! Satan has been attacking me and I realize that I need to be filled with His Holy Spirit to cast out all fear! Continued prayers for physical healing from our Lord. Annie
—-My work is starting to work on Sabbath and does not want to accommodate me. Please pray that they will allow me to work more hours on other days to make up for it or that they will let me have Sabbath off. If nothing can be done, please pray that I can get my old job back. JT

Adventist Church releases new Bible trivia game app
A brand-new digital evangelism tool aimed at reaching the world’s 2.7 billion gamers
Heroes 2: The Bible Trivia Game is a free app developed by Hope Channel to share the Three Angels’ Message with gamers and young people around the world. The app will be available on March 25th for Android and iOS on popular app stores.
Players start their journey with Adam and Eve in Genesis—the first heroes—and end in Revelation with John, the Son of Thunder. As these heroes ask factual questions about their lives, 12 per round, players accumulate “experience points”. The more experience points a player has; the more heroes are unlocked. The questions increase in difficulty as the game progresses and players can challenge their family and friends simply sharing a link at the end of each round.
Pastor Sam Neves, the project’s director, believes that videogames are a great tool to creatively communicate the Gospel with technology; a well-thought-out strategy to reach young people in a secularised culture. “The real challenge is that young people today know more about the comics stories than the Bible stories. Therefore, Heroes was born, to encourage them to familiarise themselves with the fascinating stories of the Bible, and to discover they are called to be God’s heroes today, to become Christ’s witnesses.”
“From David, the giant slayer, John, the son of thunder, Samson, the legend, to Joseph, the dreamer; these characters introduced in the game are examples of courage and biblical masculinity. And Esther, the queen of courage, Ruth, the wise widow, and Mary Magdalene, nicknamed ‘Tomb Raider’, are our ‘wonder women’ and they teach important lessons to girls,” says Sam Neves.
The game will be released in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, and more languages will be added shortly. However, the game can be pre-ordered already on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Those who wish to start playing right now, can join the beta testing team, registering here: heroesbibletrivia.org.
A rising market
The online gaming market grew considerably during the pandemic of Covid19, reaching 2.7 billion global users by the end of 2020 1. Among different game genres, Bible trivia games are getting more attention, like Heroes the Game, launched in 2013 as a pioneer Christian game, that paved the way for many other projects and developments. From the date it was released, the game generated over 10,000 minutes of interaction with its users. It is expected that Heroes 2: The Bible Trivia Game, will carry the torch!

Valuing Water
Did you now that the average person in the UK uses 150 litres of water a day?
But most of us in the UK use water without thinking. We brush our teeth and let the water run in the sink. We boil a full kettle to make one hot drink. We wash clothes on a daily basis, water plants and take long showers and indulge in even longer baths.
According to a joint report in 2019 by UNICEF and the World Health Organisation, 1 in 3 people don’t have access to safe drinking water. And millions have…Source: https://adventist.uk/news/article/go/2021-03-18/valuing-water/
