By Loren Seibold | 11 July 2020 | When I published an article about the close of probation back in April, a pastor wrote me, in high dudgeon. He described my writing that article—he used what I thought was an unnecessarily vulgar metaphor—as something gross that I had done in the Adventist living room. The Adventist message is spreading across the Madang and Manus Mission (MMM) in Papua New Guinea (PNG) faster than ever, with four small groups actively participating in Discovery Bible Reading (DBR) programs.
According to MMM president Garry Luakei, who visited the groups on Sabbath, July 3, a small group format is proving to be the best way to reach people in the area, with new people joining every week.

Reading made easy
There were no schools in his village, Seeyah, in Liberia. As a boy, he worked on the family rice farm. When he grew older, he married and had nine children and still worked on the farm. He had no reason to read.
One day, a Seventh-day Adventist evangelist, Willie Helbig, arrived in the village. Joe was interested to learn from the Bible, and he and other villagers asked the evangelist to study with them. Willie agreed and, a month later, all 50 adults in Seeyah and a neighboring village, Dehyu,…

A Simple Golden G
by Smuts van Rooyen | 11 July 2020 | A simpleton once asked a choreographer what her dance meant. She replied, if I could say it in words, I would not have said it with motion. The essence of her rebuke was that there are languages of the heart that surpass mere logic and must […] Source: https://atoday.org/a-simple-golden-g-in-the-garden/
