Fear too often fuels our interactions with others. Why do they have such crazy ideas? Why are they so physically/psychologically threatening? What do they think of me? These questions, and so many more, derail our healthy quest to understand each other. What does Jesus say to our fears? 4.The Middle East 1973 – 1990
In the war of 1967 Israel more than doubled its size. The peninsula of Sinai was given back to Egypt so that a peace agreement could be made. But the heights of Golan in Syria, the West Bank of Jordan and the plains of Gaza are still unsolved problems.

The foundation of the State of Israel in 1948 led to bloody wars in the area between Jews and Arabs. Each war ended with a victory of the Jews. The war of 1967 laid the foundation for the borders as we have them now in the area. The military support of the United States of America was the key-factor for the victory of the Jews.

Our Sanctuary Doctrine
Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Daniel 8:14.
God bids us give our time and strength to the work of preaching to the people the messages that stirred men and women in 1843 and 1844….
My brethren, take your position where God bids you. Leave alone those who, after light has been repeatedly given them, have taken a stand on the opposite side…. Take up the work which has been given us. With the Word of God as your message, stand on the platform of truth and proclaim the soon coming of Christ. Truth, eternal truth, will prevail.
For more than half a century [i.e., since 1844] the different points of present truth have been questioned and opposed. New theories have been advanced as truth, which were not truth, and the Spirit of God revealed their error. As the great pillars of our faith have been presented, the Holy Spirit has borne witness to them, and especially is this so regarding the truths of the sanctuary question. Over and over again the Holy Spirit has in a marked manner endorsed the preaching of this doctrine. But today, as in the past, some will be led to form new theories and to deny the truths upon which the Spirit of God has placed His approval.
Any man who seeks to present theories which would lead us from the light that has come to us on the ministration in the heavenly sanctuary should not be accepted as a teacher. A true understanding of the sanctuary question means much to us as a people. When we were earnestly seeking the Lord for light on that question, light came. In vision I was given such a view of the heavenly sanctuary, and the ministration connected with the holy place, that for many days I could not speak of it.
I know from the light that God has given me that there should be a revival of the messages that have been given in the past, because men will seek to bring in new theories, and will try to prove that these theories are scriptural, whereas they are error, which, if allowed a place, will undermine faith in the truth. We are not to accept these suppositions and pass them along as truth. No, no; we must not move from the platform of truth on which we have been established.
There will always be those who are seeking for something new, and who stretch and strain the Word of God to make it support their ideas and theories. Let us, brethren, take the things that God has given us, and which His Spirit has taught us is truth, and believe them, leaving alone those theories which His Spirit has not endorsed.—Manuscript 125, July 4, 1907, “Lessons From the Visions of Ezekiel.”

Dear Friends,
My grandfather, Edwin Harmon, would often tell me about what his life was like when he was young. Winters were harsh in rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The snow was often very deep and hard to walk through. Many time, he would tell me of driving a horse and cutter over the snow. (A cutter was like a wagon with no wheels: it had runners like huge ice skates.) His favorite times would be when the snow was so deep that it would cover even the fence posts. The sun would melt the top of the snow just enough to make a very hard crust. This crust was so hard that it would hold the weight of the horse and cutter. He was no longer confined to a road. He could drive over the fences and across the fields. He could save quite a bit of time that way. This was fun for him as well as a timesaver.
As a little girl, I tried to imagine a crust of snow so hard that it would hold such a heavy weight. As I would look at a single snowflake that would land upon my mitten, I was amazed that this delicate, nearly microscopic, beautifully designed, bit of frozen water could be so strong. There is a lesson in this for us; a lesson that I didn’t realize at the time. That tiny, delicate snowflake, united with countless numbers of other snowflakes, had a strength that it could never have alone.
Just so, our Dear Saviour’s command, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Matt 28:19,20, can seem overwhelming for one individual. We are like a tiny snowflake obscure in the field of humanity. How can we accomplish such a great task? However, Jesus’ command is not for just one individual, but for all who have accepted Him as their Saviour. If each of us are filled with a love and concern for our fellow man, if each follow His leading, if each do our part to speak a word in season to those around us, this task can be accomplished rather quickly. (2 Tim 4:2)
The early church understood this principle. Paul explained this to the Corinthian believers, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1 Cor 3:6-11 By each believer whole-heartedly doing the work God had given them to do, they brought the gospel to the then-known world. Their enemies declared, “These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also.” Acts 17:6
We, too, can turn the world “upside down” as did the disciples of old. We, too, can accomplish the Great Commission. If we are willing, God will give us the opportunity. But the messenger must have a message. The trumpet must give a certain sound. How shall we have a message unless we study His Great Message Book? How shall we give that “certain sound” unless we are in tune with Him.
May we dig deep within God’s Holy Word, that we may be so in tune with our Great Redeemer that we will recognize the opportunities to witness that He places before us. May we rightly represent our Loving Saviour no matter where He leads us. May we be united without compromising the truth is my prayer.

Pastor Ted Wilson: “God is going to use you to spread the 3 Angels’ Messages.”
Thank you again for connecting with us. You know, by God's grace, I hope you are doing well. During this coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic, it has been a tough situation for everyone, but be encouraged, Jesus is coming soon! You know, our General Conference Session, which has been delayed now for approximately a year, has as its theme: “Jesus is coming! Get Involved!” Total Member Involvement. I'm going to ask each of you to ask the Lord for revealing to you, ways in which you can be connected with other people, in Total Member Involvement, helping them to know about this marvelous aspect, this prophetic understanding that Jesus is coming soon. Yes, this COVID pandemic has created an amazing situation where people are worried— is this the last crisis of the world? Are we in the last days? Yes, we are in the last days. This is not the final crisis, but it is leading up to the very end of time. Last week we reviewed very briefly, Daniel 2, and we are in the tips of the toes of that statue of Daniel 2, but I want to tell you, Jesus is coming soon. This is a wake-up call—this pandemic—to all of us. Jesus is coming. The prophetic messages from God are clear to us. I'd like to just spend a few moments in Matthew 24. In fact, for the next two or three weekly visits with you, we're going to be focusing on that particular chapter. To begin with, I would like to look at the beginning part, verse three and on through verse 14.
It says that Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives and the disciples came to him: “Tell us, when will these things be, the end of time and all of this, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” And so, Jesus begins to develop things, saying that “Many will come in my name,” verse five,
“saying, ‘I am the Christ’ and will deceive many. . .” My brothers and sisters, don't be deceived. Stay close to God's Word. Take time in God's Word to understand that the signs that are so specific will tell us, Jesus is coming, and He is the real one. Don't be deceived by false christs and prophets. And then it talks about “wars and rumors of wars” and “nations will rise against nation.”
Of course, we've had that for centuries, but it will increase as time comes to an end, where things become so intense. And there are going to be famines and pestilences—and this is a pestilence—this terrible pandemic. And earthquakes in various places. All kinds of natural disasters have been happening recently in increased fervor, and it's just a challenge for all of us to understand this. All these are the beginning of sorrows. And then they're going to deliver us up to tribulation, “kill you, and you will be hated by all nations, for My name's sake,” verse nine, “and then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Many false prophets will rise up and because there is lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold,” in verse 12. “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” My brother, my sister, be faithful to God. Let the Lord guide you in a special way, because He will preserve you through His righteousness, and we will be saved through the precious mercy and grace and blood of Jesus Christ. And then the final verse that I want to share with you, verse 14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” God is going to use you to spread this precious Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14, and the fourth angel of Revelation 18, to help people to understand the full message. Let me just share with you a brief citation from The Great Controversy, a beautiful book. I hope you are reading it. My wife and I are reading it right now. Page 636: “It is at midnight that God manifests His power for the deliverance of His people. The sun appears shining in its strength. Signs and wonders follow in quick succession. The wicked look with terror and amazement upon the scene, while the righteous behold with solemn joy, the tokens of their deliverance. Everything in nature seems turned out of its course. The streams ceased to flow. Dark, heavy clouds come up and clash against each other. In the midst of the angry heavens is one clear space of indescribable glory, whence comes the voice of God, like the sound of many waters saying, ‘It is done.’” Next week we'll talk a little more about this magnificent Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and our opportunity to prepare ourselves and others for that great event, all through the righteousness of Jesus Christ. During the time of Great Britain, being the administrative organization for Palestine from 1923 – 1946, hundreds of thousands of Jews settled there, because the Britons generously promoted the immigration of Jews. The new settlers started to change the desert into fertile land by installing an irrigation project.

Theodor Herzl proclaimed his vision, founding a state for the Jews in their former country, which they had to leave nearly 2000 years ago. Between 1880 and 1914 about 65.000 Jews followed this vision and were willing to immigrate to Palestine. Most of them came from Russia. They had to buy the land from the Arabs.
