Messages of Hope Shared During COVID-19
Bill was at a gas station pumping gas when suddenly he felt a strong impression to give a GLOW tract to a well-dressed woman on the other side of the pump standing near her vehicle. He tried to brush aside the impression, but it remained, and with ever-increasing intensity, the impression persisted as the seconds wore on. After some hesitancy, Bill finally relented, went over, and handed her a few GLOW tracts. The woman inquired as to which church puts these pamphlets out. When she learned, a…

Sabbath School Lesson: How to Understand Words and Their Meanings
There are billions of people living on earth. How many languages do they speak? More than 6,000! The Bible has been written in more than 600 languages. The New Testament has been written in more than 2,500 languages too. That is a lot of languages! At the same time, 2,500 is less than half the languages spoken on the earth. About 1.5 billion people do not have the full Bible in their own language. Bible societies have done a lot of work to change that. But a lot more work needs to be done to write the Bible in other languages. For hundreds of years in Europe, the Roman Catholic Church hid the Bible away from people. Then things changed with the printing press and the Protestant Reformation. The #ProtestantReformation was a time when people in Europe woke up to Bible truth. Hundreds of years later, we continue to look for new ways to study the #Bible and learn more about Jesus. #SabbathSchool Lesson 7: https://bit.ly/35MvP76 Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG3DdcpFl7k

Tired of Virtual Church? Try Drive-in Church!
After six Sabbaths of meeting by Zoom, the congregation of Lillehammer, Norway, longed for a more personal worship experience during lockdown. As with all other churches in Norway, the building was shut due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their simple solution was “drive-in” church. On Saturday, April 25, between 40 and 50 members pulled up in the church parking lot, pointing their cars toward a temporary platform constructed outside the building.
The platform was set up on a trailer. Flowers, green…

Youth campaign exchanges masks for food for donation
Seventh-day Adventist youth, along with students from the local Adventist academy, made a positive impact recently in Imperatriz, the second-largest city in the northeastern Brazilian state of Maranhão. Its population of 250,000—like the rest of the nation—has been hard hit by the global pandemic.
In one day, the young people collected 300 kilos (approximately 661 pounds) of food donations by offering a mask in exchange for a kilo of food, or 2.2 pounds donated.
Collecting at a local…
