Can I Make a Difference During #Coronavirus? How?

May 18, 2020 By admin

With coronavirus and this pandemic, is there any hope when things seem so desperate? Can I make a difference? Absolutely! How can we do that? With social support. Reach out to people. Show people you care, show your friends you care, show your neighbors you care. If you are vulnerable or in a risk group, stick to what is safe to do. Don't put yourself at risk. Here are tips from Dr. Peter Landless, Director of Health Ministries for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Let People Know You Care During this #COVID-19 Pandemic

May 18, 2020 By admin

Make sure that we're not sharing erroneous treatments and other things that are unfounded and untrue. Cherish and cultivate supportive relationships. It is so important for people to know that you care about them, as much as it's important for us to know that others care about us. So take the opportunity to reach out to people to let them know you care. Trust God. He cares for us. Many are struggling right now. We are in this together. God is a personal God and we can trust Him. Here are tips from Dr. Peter Landless, Director of Health Ministries for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Series HOW TO INTERPRET SCRIPTURE? with Pastor Kurt Piesslinger, M.A. |

8.CREATION: GENESIS AS FOUNDATION – PART 1 |
Fascinating aspects even at the beginning of the Bible

Memory Text: John 1,1-4 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

8.3 The Sabbath and Creation
The present of Eden…

My God bless you today and always.

Smiles Amid Covid-19 Crisis Touch Tough Navajo Home

May 18, 2020 By admin

The Chinle Seventh-day Adventist Church isn’t exactly located in the best neighborhood in Chinle, a town of 4,500 people on the Navajo Reservation in the U.S. state of Arizona.
As the pastor, I live in a trailer beside the church building. Several well-respected neighbors, including a Navajo Nation police officer, live in nearby trailers. But one house is looked down on as the local “drug house.” Its unkempt yard and constant stream of random foot and vehicle traffic lend credibility to its…Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ann-en/~3/cCZmHNy7-TM/

My Ministry: 12-year-old feeds the homeless in Fiji during lockdown

May 18, 2020 By admin

It’s 5am on a Sunday morning in early April. Although Fiji’s capital of Suva is in lockdown, 12-year-old Nasoni Junior is already awake and ready to feed the homeless on the city streets.
Today, Junior is joining his parents as he has done so many times before, but this time he is more reluctant. The police have been very strict in arresting people, and authorities have not made it clear whether Junior and his team are allowed to continue their ministry.
Junior’s team is called “MISSION-1”,…Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ann-en/~3/gsoa7OJPINA/

How to engage in digital door-knocking

May 18, 2020 By admin

It’s hard to knock on someone’s door, even if we already know them. In fact, it’s not even socially acceptable nowadays to just show up unexpectedly at someone’s house in case they are busy when we stop by. We must call and schedule a visit first. Add the need for social (physical) distancing, and it becomes clear that the old way of evangelizing can no longer be the primary method. But you don’t have to knock on a stranger’s door to share your faith. Nor do you have to create the content….Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ann-en/~3/N3UDaWRFjWs/

Thank you: A sturdy church in Zambia

May 18, 2020 By admin

You have a weekly routine–work, school, friends, volunteering, church–but does your weekly routine include worrying about whether your church building will fall apart?
That is Lilian Naluminoz’s concern each week.
Each day Lilian walks into the Zambian bush to cut down a tree, which she burns into charcoal. She puts the charcoal into large bags and sells them to earn a living to support her ten children.
But on Sabbath, Lilian and her kids go to church at the Lwendge Seventh-day Adventist…Source: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ann-en/~3/ztOTIyr34S0/

Sabbath School Lesson: Daniel in the Lions’ Den

May 18, 2020 By admin

The Medes and the Persians take control of #Babylon. Then, King #Darius, the Mede becomes the new king. He sees that #Daniel is very wise. So, Darius gives Daniel a job in the new government. Daniel does an excellent job. So, the king makes Daniel one of the top government leaders. But the other government leaders are very jealous of Daniel’s success. Before the story ends, Daniel shows that his heart is loyal to God and to the king. Daniel’s loyalty to God makes him someone that other people can trust. Daniel’s experience shows us what will happen to God’s people in the end times. Daniel’s story also shows us that Satan will attack God’s people for their faith. So, we can expect hard times ahead in the war against evil. But we also can trust that good will win. God will save His people. Yes, Satan will blame God’s end-time people for the trouble on the earth. But God will show that His people are innocent. They should not be blamed for any crimes.
