An Adventist Church Nurse and Educator in Four Countries [History] Emma Binder departed from the United States by plane on November 21, 1946, to continue working as a nurse and educator for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in other countries such as India, Pakistan, and Malawi. Binder spent her entire life serving the Lord and continued to give monetary support to the mission when she couldn’t travel or work due to her age. Emma Binder died on August 24, 1993, at 92.
