My apologies that the hymns are late for this week. Sunday – The Holy Spirit descended to the brand new church and so we ask for that now: Hymn 269, “Come, Holy Spirit” and Hymn 268, “Holy Spirit, Light Divine” . Monday – Hymn 250, “O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing” and Hymn 81, “Though I Speak With Tongues” . Tuesday Peter’s sermon brings out the wonderful story of the resurrection of Jesus: Hymn 526, “Because He Lives” . On Wednesday, there are two hymns that remind us that Jesus is exalted: Hymn 166, “Christ the Lord Is Risen Today” , Hymn 230, “All Glory, Laud, and Honor Forgiveness is shown on Thursday in Hymn 299, “Forgive Our Sins as We Forgive”

On June 3, 2018, the Fuego Volcano (Volcano of Fire) in Guatemala erupted, causing large amounts of destruction to the surrounding communities. The eruption produced the descent of pyroclastic flows and fiery clouds with temperatures reaching 700 degrees Celsius. Ash columns were formed, reaching up to 10,000 meters above sea level and affecting communities as far as 40 kilometers away. The volcano is 27 miles southwest of the country’s capital, Guatemala City.
