Seventh-day Adventist leaders in Nassau, The Bahamas, are still waiting to know the fate of the hundreds of members who have been affected by the devastating effects of Hurricane Dorian on the hardest hit islands of Abaco, Grand Bahama, Bimini and the Berry Islands. His Excellency Paul Kagame, the president of the Republic of Rwanda, and Ted N.C. Wilson, president of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, recently unveiled the new East-Central Africa Division (ECD) School of Medicine.

Adventist volunteers provide care to pilgrims in Minas Gerais
Every year, Catholic pilgrims leave their homes throughout Minas Gerais, Brazil, to walk to the city of Romaria for one of the greatest religious festivities in the state, which takes place on August 15. Some of these pilgrims start walking as early as August 1st. This year, the members of the Espaço Adventista da Colina in Uberlandia set up a tent along the pilgrim’s route, as part of the “Living Water” project.
