Adventist History: Life of Emidio Sequeira
This week in Adventist history, we revisit the life of Emidio Sequeira, an Adventist literature evangelist, missionary, teacher, secretary, president, director, chaplain, and pastor. Known as Jack during his church work, Emidio was born in Nairobi, Kenya, on September 25, 1932, to Goan parents. He and his family later moved to Great Britain, where he converted to Seventh-day Adventism and studied at Newbold College under the mentorship of missionary George D. Keough. After graduating, Jack engaged in literature evangelism in England and married Jean Harrison. David Trim tells us more about his story on This Week in Adventist History.
