The Thief on the Cross: A Story of Redemption and Grace
In this video, Clifford Goldstein shares a closer look at the story of the thief on the cross and how it can deliver a powerful gospel message we can all learn from. This video dives deep into the story of two thieves crucified alongside Jesus and how their attitudes differed toward Him. While one thief mocked and reviled Jesus, the other changed his heart and confessed his guilt. Despite his past sins and faults, he was the only human being outside Jesus who truly understood what was happening on the cross. He cries helplessly, asking Jesus to remember him when He enters His kingdom. Jesus responds with grace and mercy, saying he will be with Him in paradise. This topic reminds us that we are justified by faith, and there is no sin too great for the grace of God. So if you're feeling weighed down by your past or present sins, know that hope and forgiveness are available through Jesus Christ.
