This past weekend, I had the privilege of spending time with our Adventist World Radio Ambassadors in Loma Linda, California. These dedicated men and women travel to churches across the United States sharing stories of the incredible things God is doing through Adventist World Radio right now. Our Ambassadors told us that one story that has really gotten people excited is that of Lily, our “secret weapon” working on the other side of the world. Her conversion story is a dramatic one, and I wanted to ensure you were able to watch it, because it showcases the creative ways in which God reaches people where they are. On that day, she lost her husband, and her two young sons lost their father. This hardened Jaslene’s heart, and she vowed to raise her children to be the best fighters possible to avenge their father’s death. By 13, her older son had joined the NPA guerrillas, and his younger brother soon followed. It seemed like their future course was set.
