April 2025 President’s Video: “Kindness in a Parking Lot”

April 24, 2025 By admin

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16) It was March 2020, and Kathy and I had just landed in Dallas when we realized the world was going into lockdown. Church services were canceled, stores were cleaned out, and uncertainty filled the air. And yet—in the middle of the chaos—God sent us a reminder of His goodness (which I share in this video). That act of kindness was a reflection of the very mission Jesus gave us: to share hope where it’s needed most. From Chiapas to Malawi, from Zimbabwe to the Philippines, AWR is helping light up the darkest corners of the world by sharing the truth from the Bible. I invite you to watch the video and see how God is moving in mighty ways. (And if you’ve ever thought about preaching your own evangelistic series, I have a special invitation for you at the end!) There is no greater joy than sharing the Good News of the gospel—and I especially love it when God uses Adventist World Radio to reach others for Jesus! Yours in the blessed hope, Duane McKey
President

This Is Why Sabbath Rest Still Matters Today

April 18, 2025 By admin

🕊️ What do you really need rest from? The Sabbath isn’t just a day off—it’s a divine call to pause, reflect and draw near to God. Leviticus 26:2 reminds us to keep the Sabbath and reverence His sanctuary. This short message explores what that looks like in your life today. 📖 Don’t just rest—rest God’s way.
