Adventist Representation at Parliamentary Launch Event
On Monday, 27 March 2023, a capacity audience attended the ‘All-Party Ethnicity, Transplantation and Transfusion Group’ launch event, held at the parliamentary venue – Portcullis House, Westminster. This focused on how the lack of donor participation adversely affects people from African, Caribbean and Asian backgrounds. It also raised awareness of health inequalities faced by these groups and advocated for equitable access to treatment for individuals in these communities.

Obituary – Pastor Ebenezer O Sackey
With a heavy heart, the South England Conference (SEC) wishes to share the news of the passing of Pastor Ebenezer Sackey. The SEC President, Emmanuel Osei, said, “Pastor Sackey served in the South England Conference for many years before retiring in 2010 and returning to Ghana in 2022.” The sad event took place at about midnight on Friday, 14 April.

The Easter Break – An Explosion of Life after the Quiet
Easter tends to be a very quiet time here at the British Union Conference (BUC) office. A few of my colleagues have children at school, and they take the opportunity of the holidays to go away for a few days. Others visit family members or use some of their annual leave to work in their gardens or allotments, which are rapidly coming to life at this time of year.
