2020 has not been an easy year for anyone and there have been a lot of changes. Churches have closed and services have moved online. Thus, many churches have used their buildings to host food banks and soup kitchens to feed those who are in need.
Camp Hill Seventh-day Adventist church is one of those. Their food bank has been opened since June 2020 and has helped many people in the area. Death of Pastor Patrick Boyle
It is with deep sadness that we report the death of Pastor Patrick Boyle. He died on 29 December 2020.
He and his wife Rosemary joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Dublin in 1956. In 1960 he went to Newbold College to train for the ministry. In 1964 he returned to Ireland and began his ministry in Belfast. This year started with great pomp and ceremony as January 1 rang out. But within two months that joy and euphoria was short-lived as the United Kingdom and the whole world experienced a darkness that came over it in the form of Covid-19. Nobody expected it to last as long as it has, nobody experienced anything like it. No one could imagine the devastation and the effect it would have upon the UK and the rest of the world.
