Your pastor is human too! Pastors go through a lot and still have to give a lot. They cry and grieve too. Grieving can’t be wished away just like one of your bad days or can it be quickly forgotten just like a friendly disappointing football match loss. As for a friendly football match, a team can quickly bounce back by correcting the wrongs and winning the next game. Grieving can be painful and it can’t be fixed or made to go away so easily.

BUC Executive Approves Draft Constitution for Session
The British Union Conference Executive Committee has approved a version of the proposed new BUC Constitution to present at the BUC Session, which will run from Thursday 21 to Friday 22 October 2021. More than two years in the making, the latest version is draft 19, which gives an idea of the amount of work that has gone into producing and refining the document.

NEC Session Convenes with Administrative Changes
On Wednesday 8 September, 270 delegates met together at the Jury’s Inn, Hinckley, Leicestershire, to conduct the business of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the North England Conference (NEC), to look back over the past, and to plan and trust in God for the future. The delegates represent a 10,000-strong membership who meet in 137 congregations from as far south as Worcester in the English Midlands to Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the north-east of England.

BUC Latest Tithe Report
As more and more of our churches (covid aware) begin to reopen tithe continues to improve. Comparing July 2019 tithe still reflects a 6.2% increase.
BUC July 2021 tithe of £14,593,384 shows a +24.7% increase (£2,888,238) on 2020. Against our budget we are £116,180 (+8.6%) above our 2021 projections.
