The North England Conference Executive Committee has approved a version of the proposed new NEC Constitution to present at the NEC Session, which will run from Wednesday 8 to Friday 10 September. More than two years in the making, the latest version is draft 37, which gives an idea of the amount of work that has gone into producing and refining the document.

‘Surviving Lockdown’ Badges Received at Newbold Church Investiture
Newbold Church Pathfinders and Adventurers together with their Counsellors joyfully received the ‘surviving lockdown’ badges during their investiture held on Sabbath 10 July. This is a special badge given on top of other badges, in honour and recognition of the hard work put in during lockdown when club meetings were held via zoom. British Union Conference Weekly e-Club Ends after Fifteen Months
On 23 March 2020 the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, announced that England would begin a period of lockdown, during which people were not to leave their houses for anything except for essential trips. Offices, schools, churches, and other establishments all closed their doors to await the passing of the COVID-19 virus.
