One thing we especially enjoy during our staff meetings at Adventist World Radio is recounting the stories we receive on a daily basis from around the world. There is rejoicing and praise—and sometimes tears—as we share what God is doing and the lives that are being changed through the ministry of AWR. Below is a video compilation with just a few of these stories. They include: Madagascar: The powerful witch doctor who found refuge from the spirits by listening to AWR. Namibia (Part One): The son of a priest whose life spiraled out of control after his sister’s death, but now is a powerful evangelist for Jesus. Namibia (Part Two): How God answered a prayer for rain right in the nick of time—twice! Mexico: A young mother, abandoned by her husband and on the verge of suicide, finds hope in AWR’s cell phone messages. Tanzania: A cattle herder whose highlight of the day was listening to his radio at night—until one day he discovered a program in his own dialect that changed his life. These stories and many more are the reason we exist as a ministry—to share the gospel of the kingdom with every nation, kindred, tongue and people. What a privilege and what a responsibility! Dying Deities
by Richard W. Coffen | 8 April 2021 | At church, “The Old Rugged Cross” was probably shelved until next spring. The echoes of “He Lives” are already fading.
