The sixth church addressed by Jesus was Philadelphia (meaning “brotherly love”). The city was located on an imperial trade road and served as the gateway – an “open door” – to a large, fertile plateau. Excavations indicate that Philadelphia was a center to which people came for health and healing. After lots of preparation, fundraising and travel, 1300 excited Pathfinders and leaders from around the New Zealand Pacific Union Conference (NZPUC) gathered for five days of activities and worship in the White Rock hills.

Sung Hye Choi is South Korean, but she has never lived in South Korea.
Sung Hye was born in the South American country of Paraguay. Her parents were among a wave of some 120,000 South Korean workers who immigrated to Paraguay from 1975 to 1990.
