After 10 months of the Covid-19 pandemic in the year 2020 the latest monthly tithe report shows that we have now reached 91% (£17.7 million) of our 2019 tithe returns. We thank God despite these challenging times for the faithfulness of the return of tithe by members across the Union.
With the month-long lockdown now replaced by tiered restrictions across the country, here is a summary of the trends in return of tithes around the British Union Conference to the month of October.

For its final lecture of 2020, the Newbold Diversity Centre was delighted to welcome Amanda Khozi Mukwashi, the CEO of Christian Aid, on Tuesday 10 November. Engaging. Intriguing. Edifying. Illuminating. These are all words that come to mind describing the Scotish Mission Youth Day of Fellowship hosted on Sabbath 21 November 2020. Reaching out to our community during lockdown and the UK Tier system has been problematic to say the least. However, Reading West church decided to look at our situation positively and utilise the technology we had to reach out into our community in ways that we have not tried before.
