Seventh-day Adventist World Church President makes an appeal in U.S. death penalty case.
The Seventh-day Adventist World Church President, Ted N.C. Wilson, has written a letter of appeal to the governor of the U.S. state of Tennessee, Bill Lee, asking for a stay of execution for Donnie Johnson. Johnson has been convicted of killing his wife and is set to be executed this week. While in prison, Johnson became a Christian and was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church. ADRA Canada reports how “ADRA School” in Uganda helps refugee students
Conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo is causing thousands of people to flee to safety across the border into the country of Uganda. The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) has been engaged in helping the refugees as they make new lives for themselves.
