In Colombia, Adventists donate one day of their salary to help struggling families
Hundreds of Seventh-day Adventist employees from throughout the church in Colombia recently donated one day of their salary to assist vulnerable families affected by job loss during the global pandemic. According to the National Cancer Institute (INCA), more than 150,000 people die annually in Brazil from complications associated with smoking. Around the world, more 8 million die each year because of tabacco. Pacific schools respond to coronavirus crisis
Feeling as though the campus was the safest place they could be, teachers and ancillary staff of Betikama Adventist College (BAC) and their families remained on campus during the COVID-19 lockdown.
College administration looked for ways to pull together as a team to support each other, and activities were held to bring support and comfort to everyone.
