ADRA taps North American educators for development aid overhaul in Southern Africa schools
The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is collaborating with the North American Division (NAD) Office of Education to offer educational development assistance at schools in Southern Africa. Recently, ADRA accompanied ten NAD education leaders to evaluate and assess the needs of schools in Malawi.

Pathfinders plant 1,400 trees to combat climate change in Dubai
To help combat climate change, Pathfinders in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) took part in planting 1,400 trees in Dubai on November 10 as a part of the “Plant A Legacy initiative” spearheaded by a Dubai private school.
Seven Pathfinders, four Adventurers, two parents and fifteen Master Guides in Training and Master Guides from the Emirates of Sharjah and Dubai in UAE participated in the completion of planting 15,000 Ghaf trees in 65 days.

Pueblo Adventists condemn planned white supremacist attack on Jewish temple.
Joining the community of Pueblo, Seventh-day Adventists issued a statement regarding the planned bombing of Temple Emanuel, the Jewish temple in Pueblo, and delivered it to the synagogue leadership on Friday, November 8.
At sunset, a dozen Adventist church members and leaders attended the Shabbat Eve Service in solidarity with the Jewish community. Two Adventist leaders pass to their rest
It is with sincere regret that Adventist News Network reports that two former leaders of the West-Central Africa Division, Luka T. Daniel and Robert J. Kloosterhuis, have passed to their rest.
Daniel, 76, was born in the village of Ukam, Kaduna, Nigeria, in 1943. He attended Adventist primary schools and received his bachelor’s degree from the Adventist College of West Africa (now Babcock University) before obtaining a master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Loma Linda University.
