Seventh-day Adventist youth, along with students from the local Adventist academy, made a positive impact recently in Imperatriz, the second-largest city in the northeastern Brazilian state of Maranhão. Its population of 250,000—like the rest of the nation—has been hard hit by the global pandemic.
In one day, the young people collected 300 kilos (approximately 661 pounds) of food donations by offering a mask in exchange for a kilo of food, or 2.2 pounds donated.

The Seventh-day Adventist community on St. Croix was in solidarity with the leaders and members of the Peter’s Rest Adventist Church on May 5, 2020, as they watched their state-of-the-art church building consumed by fire. Youth in Japan fight COVID-19 with multi-generational program
A group of young people, who had planned to participate in March’s Youth Rush program, but were unable to do so due to the coronavirus outbreak, came up with a new idea called Daniel Rush. Youth Rush is a student literature evangelism program of the Japan Union Conference.
