Solomon Maphosa worked as a pastor for three years in his native Zimbabwe before being asked to serve as conference stewardship director.

Delegates from the 11 countries that make up the East-Central Africa Division (ECD), recently joined together in Kampala, Uganda, to celebrate the mission achievements in the region. The Mission Extravaganza was held on the outskirts of Kampala, at the Nelson Mandela National Stadium in Namboole. Plans for two mobile medical clinics, Hope TV and radio studios, and an animated children’s series have got the green light after the South Pacific Division (SPD) received funds through a 2019 world Church offering.
