Chemical Spill Results in Partial Evacuation of Washington Adventist Hospital

September 6, 2017:    A chemical spill in a lab area of Washington Adventist Hospital forced a partial evacuation of the hospital yesterday morning. Local news source, Takoma Park Patch, reported that officials called for a partial evacuation/shelter-in place at the hospital as hazmat crews responded to the accident.

Adventist Hospital in Hong Kong Offers 3D Printed Models of Foetuses

August 20, 2017:   Hong Kong’s Tsuen Wan-based Adventist Hospital has become one of the first hospitals in Asia to offer 3D printed replica foetuses. For about USD 770, expectant parents can order a 3D printed model of their unborn baby. The technology uses ultrasound scanning and 3D printing to create the models.
