2018 Sonscreen "Confessionals"

These 2018 Sonscreen filmmaker “confessionals” are featured with the Adventist Journey magazine feature story in March. In this video, several young filmmakers share their thoughts on, and their reasons for, making films. Sonscreen Film Festival is the NAD’s annual gathering for Christian young adults who have a passion for using film and video for the purpose of creating timely and relevant productions for social awareness, outreach, and uplifting creative entertainment. The alumnus of 1988 receives a citation at Homecoming 2018 for going beyond better for those who deserve best.

Pastor Ryan Hablitzal, pastor of the Ogden, Utah, Seventh-day Adventist Church, wanted his church to do more then grow. He wanted it to THRIVE (grow vigorously)! So he brought in 10 young adults who belong to a ministry called THRIVE! Hard work and prayer has altered the course of doing ministry in Ogden. Follow along as Ryan and others tell what happened.
