The First Adventist Missionaries in New Caledonia and Loyalty; and other highlights [History] Captain G.F. Jones and his wife were the first Seventh-day Adventist missionaries to work in New Caledonia and the Loyalty Islands. On October 23, 1925, they sailed from Sydney to begin their mission where C. F.
