Don’t miss this incredible prediction. If you ready to make a commitment to Jesus and be baptized, get in touch with us at http://bible.awr.org ABOUT CAMI OETMAN
Ten years ago, Cami Oetman had a real encounter with God that would change her life forever. She was a successful entrepreneur at the time, and the transition wasn't easy. However, the truth Cami will share in this series was so compelling that she knew every human being in the world should experience the love of Jesus as she had. Within three years, she had preached 350 Bible presentations. Today, as a vice president for Adventist World Radio, Cami travels the world documenting the miracles that take place when people give their hearts to Jesus. It may seem difficult to imagine yourself understanding Bible prophecy. Cami couldn’t either. She had spent two decades in the modeling world—in front of and behind the camera. She had also used her master’s degree in social work to care for hospice patients. She then started a successful retail business. But no one can predict how they will react when they have a real experience with God! THE PREDICTION
Have you ever longed to turn the pages of time and peer into what lies ahead? Have the current conditions of this world ever made you wonder how this world began and how it will all end in the future? Well, fortunately, you don't have to stumble through life aimlessly. In the Bible, God has given remarkable prophecies that can provide you with real answers, shedding light on the meaning of our lives and the conditions of this world right before the end. The prophecies of the Bible pull back the curtain from the spiritual world, revealing an intense, invisible battle between God and Satan, and it's centered on the issue: who will you worship? Pastor Ted Wilson Encourages Us that Now is the Time to Get Ready for the Day Jesus Returns
In this video, Pastor Ted Wilson expresses our need to get ready for the day #Jesus returns. During these last several months we have seen crises hit, one right after another, in an unprecedented way. Global #disasters, fires, the #pandemic, civil unrest, explosions, earthquakes and more all remind us that these are unusual times. And just this week, more fires broke out in the western part of the United States. As unsettling as the many recent events are we should not be surprised. Disasters and more have been happening for years, but they now seem to be coming in succession more rapidly. While on earth, Jesus Himself told us what to expect in the last days. In Luke 21:25-28 we read, “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” Let’s notice for a moment the #signs given in this passage: 1) “signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars.” Whenever these heavenly signs are mentioned in the New Testament, the sun-moon-stars sequence is the same. This fact suggests a very specific fulfillment to this #prophecy, and as Seventh-day #Adventists, we believe these signs were fulfilled by the “Dark Day" of May 19, 1780 and the Leonid meteor shower of November 13, 1833. 2) “distress of nations, with perplexity.” While there have certainly been wars throughout history, the timing of this indicates a distress of a more global nature and may refer to the world wars of the twentieth century. 3) “the sea and the waves roaring.” This could certainly refer to the increasing intensity of the destruction brought by sea-based natural disasters such as tsunamis, typhoons, and hurricanes. 4) “men’s hearts failing them from fear.” A new kind of fear seems to have arisen with the rise of terrorism along with the real uncertainties we are experiencing in the 21st century. But, praise God, we are not left in a state of fear and uncertainty! Reading on in this passage found in Luke 21, verse 27: “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” And then, in verse 28, we read this marvelous promise: “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Jesus is coming very, very soon. It is time, like never before, to be encouraged and to get ready for His soon return. Now is the time to let our lights shine for Him. I encourage you to #pray for God’s guidance and direction in how best you can reach others for Him. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPdj-Q8YDNo

Uncovering The History Of The South American Division For The First Time
History is everything. It marks and molds who, what, where, when, why, and how we came to be. ESDA is no exception. Our online encyclopedia would be incomplete without the humble accounts of every Adventist division. This podcast episode relates meaningful stories and the history of the South American Division. This time, the Division's President Dr. Erton Kohler joins ESDA editors Dr. David Trim and Dr. Dragoslava Santrac. South American Division Supports ESDA
Dr. Kohler points out that it is "fundamental to rescue our history." Thus, the division gives great logistical and financial aid for ESDA. For them, this is a priority. Supporting the online Adventist reference is investing in the mission. Indeed, "a church that has no relationship with its past is at risk of losing focus on the present and becoming irrelevant in the future." Adventist Media Center, God's Invisible Hand
One tool that stands out in the division is "Novo Tempo" (Hope Channel). The communication network coordinates TV, radio, and internet ministries in Portuguese and Spanish languages. Started in 1996 with only eight employees, it now reaches more than 220 million people in eight South American countries. Daily, thousands of their contacts avail of Bible studies. The Mission of Ignacio Kalbermatter
As a missionary pastor, Ignacio Kalbermatter has sacrificed a lot. He lost his firstborn son in Paraguay then his daughter died in Bolivia. Despite these heartbreaking trials, he and his wife Cecilia stood strong and firm in their faith. They opened the way for establishing Adventist church growth in the region. Decades later, his grandson (also named Ignacio) became president of the Paraguay Union Mission. And more years passed, Bolivian Union Mission nominated his great-grandson as president. To know more about his inspiring story and other articles, read here: https://encyclopedia.adventist.org/article?id=DGJO&highlight=ignacio|kalbermatter. Motivated with the Lens of History
Today's young people have a great tendency to be very futuristic. Dr. Kohler emphasizes the need to help them look back to history. Old stories of adventures, failures, and victories give them a strong identity. It is vital to make the experience of our past a blessing for the present, for the future, and for eternity.
