Mensajes de los Tres Ángeles [¿Irás y Proclamarás?]—Pastor Ted Wilson

November 7, 2021 By admin

As Mensagens Dos Três Anjos [Você irá e proclamará?] – Pastor Ted Wilson

November 7, 2021 By admin

Adventist Church launches digital evangelism app called ‘Adventist Teams’; and other world news

November 5, 2021 By admin

This week on ANN. The Seventh-day Adventist World Church launched a new app called Adventist Teams to grow the church’s presence in the digital world on November 1. The app will allow members worldwide to source and distribute quality biblical content for friends and family in the digital space. Adventist Teams is a result of the worldwide Adventist Church’s focus on Total Member Involvement. For more information and to get involved, you can download the Adventist Teams app for Apple and Android phones. You can also visit https://adventistteams.org/ for more details. A group of Adventist chaplains from the Inter-American Division’s French territory ministered to victims of the recent earthquake that devastated the southern peninsula of Haiti. The chaplains offered emotional and psychosocial support to more than 400 people from September 9 to 17. Director of Pastor Care and Education at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and Adventist Chaplaincy Instructor Ansel Valcin invited a handful of Adventist chaplains from the French Antilles Guiana region and Haiti. Eight chaplains from Guadeloupe, Martinique, and French Guiana flew to Haiti to pair up with eight chaplains from the Haitian Union. The Adventist Community Services (ACS) of the Nkoldongo Adventist Church in Cameroon distributed donations estimated at around 3 million CFA Francs to needy families and children through a free market held in September. About 500 people took part in this exercise. Each participant could purchase at least five items for free, presenting tickets offered by the organizers. They all benefited from school kits, clothing, shoes, bags, suitcases, mats, seals, foodstuffs, and even soap. The ACS Department of the Nkoldongo Adventist Community initiative was launched in July 2021 by fundraising from church members, organizations, and individuals. Dean of the School of Theology at Brazil Adventist University, Reinaldo W. Siqueira, has been named the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s new chief liaison to the Jewish community. The General Conference Administrative Committee voted Siqueira as the director of the World Jewish-Adventist Friendship Center, which operates under the auspices of Adventist mission and oversees the World Church’s relations with the Jewish people. You can find out more about this one of six Global Mission Centers under the support of Adventist Mission at https://www.adventistmission.org/. An earthquake caused significant damage to the Bekabeka Adventist Community High School on October 15 in the Solomon Islands western province. Bekabeka is a Seventh-day Adventist boarding high school with 249 students, 18 teaching staff, and 9 support staff. The earthquake’s epicenter was between 25 and 30 kilometers, or roughly 18 miles, from the closest point of land and communities, which happened to be the boarding school. Twenty-three out of 28 homes on the campus were damaged. Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Solomon and a team from nearby Batuna Vocational College went to assess the damage and help with some building, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Three Angels’ Messages [Will You Go and Proclaim?]—Pastor Ted Wilson

November 4, 2021 By admin

The world is approaching its end. Thus, it's time for us Seventh-day Adventists to be bolder in proclaiming the Three Angels' Messages such that there's no other work of greater importance than this. In this worldwide Week of Prayer (November 6-13), Pastor Ted Wilson invites you to join other Seventh-day Adventists around the globe to dive deeply into these messages through the special November issue of the Adventist World magazine. Be part of this worldwide event by downloading a copy of this magazine at adventistworld.org. God has a special mission in every age. The specifics may vary, but the ultimate goal stays the same – to bring people into a saving relationship with God for eternity. Over 2 500 years ago, God used Daniel to carry out His prophecies during his time. But these prophecies extend into our time and beyond. They are identified in Revelation 10 as a "little book" sealed until the end. Verses 8 and 9 say, "Go, take the little book which is open…take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth." It traces back to the great disappointment in 1844, marking the end of the 2300-year prophecy concerning the cleansing of the sanctuary and the investigative judgment. It was a bitter disappointment when Jesus did not come as the Advent believers had expected. But little did they know their work was not yet complete as there was another message to be given to the whole world. As you know, this message came to be known as the Three Angels' Messages, divided into three parts outlined in Revelation 14:6-12. The first and second messages were given by the early Adventist believers. The third one would be given before the second coming of Christ. And the combination of these messages would be the final appeal of God to the world. Now, our mission as God's remnant church is made clear as stated here: "In a special sense, Seventh-day Adventists have been set in the world as watchmen and light-bearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for a perishing world. On them is shining wonderful light from the word of God. They have been given a work of the most solemn import—the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels' messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention…The world is to be warned, and God's people are to be true to the trust committed to them" (9T 19). Since God entrusted us to proclaim these messages to the world, we must understand them first before sharing. As such, Pastor Wilson encourages you to meet in your respective places to participate in this Week of Prayer. As the conflict between truth and error intensifies and the end draws near, God's faithful ones must carry on with the mission, leaving the results with Him. Their faces will be "lighted up, hastening from place to place to proclaim the message from heaven…The message will be carried not so much by argument as by the deep conviction of the Spirit of God…the truth is seen in its clearness, and the honest children of God sever the bands which have held them…Notwithstanding the agencies combined against the truth, a large number take their stand upon the Lord's side" (GC 612). Now is the time to study these messages, pray for God's leading, and commit ourselves fully into His hands. Together, let's say, "I will go to proclaim the Three Angels' Messages!" May God bless you as you spend time with Him during this worldwide Week of Prayer. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rkdq5KW8QSc
