It’s a wonderful time of the year, but let’s not forget that Thanksgiving goes hand-in-hand with giving. It’s literally “thanks” plus “giving”—all in one word! Second Corinthians 9—the chapter on gratitude—confirms it. It promises that if you “freely scatter your gifts to the poor…you will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous in every occasion…and your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” What a wonderful promise! Take a moment to read this Bible chapter. I know you’ll be blessed! Below is a video highlighting some of AWR’s most urgent projects around the world. God is doing amazing things thanks to your generosity—and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you for making such a significant difference. May you be blessed in a special way this holiday season. Gratitude Through Giving | AWR360°

A few weeks ago, I was at the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem where Jesus was laid on Crucifixion Friday. If there is one thing that I’m grateful for is that the tomb is empty—because we serve a risen Savior! You can visit the tombs of this world’s religious leaders, and all contain their remains. Mohammed’s tomb is in Saudi Arabia, Buddha’s cremated remains are divided among his followers, and Confucius is buried in China. The list goes on, but Jesus’ tomb is empty! He is the only One who gave His life for others, the only One who conquered death and rose again—and He now intercedes in the heavenly sanctuary for you and me! If that isn’t cause for gratitude during this Thanksgiving season, I don’t know what is! Thank you for helping us share this amazing news with the world. —Duane McKey, President MB01FHC0ZLIM4FN Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkbWedKn5SY
Journey to the Cell Phone Church | AWR360°
Barbie and her husband Dries are Dutch farmers in Kashira village, Namibia, sharing communal land with the local villagers. Barbie began receiving evangelistic sermons on her cell phone from her friend Elize, and each night after work, she and her husband listened to the presentations. When they heard the truth about the Sabbath, they had to share it with the villagers, who agreed that if the Sabbath is the day of rest, then they should worship on it! They wanted to know more, and as each truth was presented, they received it with open hearts. Soon, the whole village accepted the Adventist message! Barbie and Dries decided to build a church, and thanks to your support last year, the church was built. Then, through an AWR gift catalog project, supporters in America donated Bibles for every new Adventist family in the village. Their happiness knew no bounds! But there was still another surprise. One Friday afternoon, Barbie received a visit from Ouppa, the chief of another village. For 20 years, he had known the truth about the Sabbath and thought he was alone in his belief—until he heard about Barbie and her church! He had a request: could his village join them on Sabbaths to worship together? God leads in the most unexpected ways when we put forth the effort to share the gospel with others—and He does it from broadcast to baptism! —Duane McKey, President Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0j9h-bzc_zY
