November 2020 Presidental Message | AWR360°

November 20, 2020 By admin

When Jesus spoke to his disciples about end-time events, He mentioned a sign that can’t be overlooked. He said the gospel would be “preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations.” What seemed impossible just a few years ago has become a reality—the gospel to the whole world is not a future event anymore—it’s being preached right now! Adventist World Radio is launching the Three Angels’ Messages through the airwaves—and on all social media platforms—24 hours a day, seven days a week! These messages go everywhere air goes, covering the whole world. We never know who’s listening until we receive unexpected news from the most remote and impossible areas. Last week we learned something astounding—the dictator of an unnamed country is watching AWR—and now his Commander General has joined in, along with the witch he hired to protect him! In this short video, I briefly share this amazing story. Be sure to watch for future updates! I love it when God surprises us, when He uses our humble efforts in the most spectacular ways! —Duane McKey, President Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Omz5cZner10

October Presidential Message | AWR360º

October 23, 2020 By admin

Not long ago, someone asked me, “What difference does it make which day I worship God? After all, they’re all His days!” The problem is, when we ask the wrong question, we may end up with the wrong answer. Because the question I ask myself is: “What does God require of me? What is His preference in all things—including in how I worship?” Once we ask that question—and propose in our hearts to follow Him no matter what our opinion, our upbringing, or our tradition may be, He will guide us to all truth. As a result of AWR’s recent online evangelistic series, Unlocking Bible Prophecies 2.0, we’ve been receiving more questions about the Sabbath than ever before. We are told that “the Sabbath question is to be the issue in the great final conflict in which all the world will act a part.” (Counsels for the Church, p. 334) This means it’s imperative that we get it right—our lives may depend on it! Like the sower in the parable, we throw out the seed. Some may fall on hard or rocky ground, and some among the thorns, but some are finding fertile soil and bearing fruit for eternity. Below is a short video in which I briefly review the Sabbath question from God’s perspective. What a privilege to share this wonderful message! That’s our commitment at Adventist World Radio—to lead others to Jesus and His truth. There is no higher calling, and no greater joy. —Duane McKey, President MB01GCMGFOJWRHP Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0OoL8em1oY

Digital Evangelism 101: Why Be Online and Why Now?

October 19, 2020 By admin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jil4eZWeKn8

Even before the Pandemic of 2020, churches were sensing a need to find new and innovative ways to connect with people more deeply. Digital Evangelism is simply following Christ's example of meeting people where they are and in today's world, that is on technology. From YouTube to Facebook to Instagram and TikTok the world is increasingly spending more time on digital platforms. The church wants to respond and they are seeking more resources to help them understand how to do evangelism in the digital arena. This video explains why we need to be online and some of the reasons churches struggle and our best tips to move beyond the fears you may have to reach your community where they can be found! Join host Pastor Kyle Allen, AWR Vice President and his guests Alyssa Truman (AWR Marketing Manager), Karen Glassford (AWR Center for Digital Evangelism Director), Pastor Jose Cortes, Jr. (Evangelism Director for North American Division) and Pastor Sam Neves (Associate Communications Director for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist church) MORE ABOUT DIGITAL EVANGELISM 101 AWR Vice President Kyle Allen hosts this new series, Digital Evangelism 101, that will cover three areas of Digital Evangelism – Content Creation, Marketing & Promotion and Follow-Up. 😱☠️

October 15, 2020 By admin

MB01JEQLXD92YMM Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXDRllTrRFo
