With three months of a quarantine in Mongolia during the coronavirus pandemic, Seventh-day Adventists there responded to the crisis by offering practical help to their neighbors—and online worship services and Bible studies for those seeking greater answers.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America is responding to the tragic killings of Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia, Breonna Taylor in Kentucky, George Floyd in Minnesota, and other recent events that clearly document the racial divide destroying the quality of life for so many and the very fabric of our democratic society. In mid-May, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), delivered commodities and wash kits to the most vulnerable families in Soamanandrariny, Antananarivo. The response was funded by Latter-day Saint Charities.
These supplies helped approximately 2,800 people in 470 families who are affected by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and whose income has drastically decreased. Churches in Western Australia are using Adventist Record to connect with their members, especially those who may not be internet savvy, while churches remain closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
