“Especially as Seventh-day Adventists, we rest on the principle of sola Scriptura.” These are words from the introduction to this week’s lesson. As I am writing this, it is Christmas Day. I do pray that the Lord has blessed you with a safe Christmas and that you will go on to have a Happy New Year in 2018. This weeks’ lesson instructs us in our Christian Living in Romans chapters 14 – 16: Hymn 617, “We are living, we are dwelling, in a grand and awful time.” Sabbath afternoon’s lesson encourages us to have “the Bible alone as the standard of faith Hymn 272, “Give Me the Bible” . Sunday – To help those who are “Weak in Faith”, one may choose to sing Hymn 517, “My Faith Looks Up to Thee” .
