Our memory text brings us our first hymns when is says, “we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”: Hymn 466, “Wonderful Peace” and Hymn 463, “Peace, Perfect Peace” . The introduction to this week tells us of Jesus blood being the foundation for all our hope: Hymn 294, “Power in the Blood” , and Hymn 184 , “Jesus Paid It All” .
